Don’t Forget About The Celtics!

The Celtics are the dark horse of this year‘s playoffs. No one talks about them, no has them advancing to even the Eastern Conference Finals, but they could very well go all the way.

First off, let’s talk about record. Since New Year’s, the Celtics have a win percentage only rivaled by the Suns. Yes the Suns that are going to finish with 65+ wins most likely.

Secondly, unlike most dark horses, they have two players that can fill the role of closer. Most dark horse teams barely have one. I’m more than comfortable with giving either Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum the ball in crunch time.

Thirdly, this team has something to prove. They have underachieved over the past few years, and they know that. Yet there’s something different about theisCeltics team. There’s something better about them. They’ve broken through a wall.

Finally, unlike previous years, they have good a good big man rotations. Over the past few years, it’s been really hard for them to find quality minutes at the center position. But they finally did that as Robert Williams has progressed nicely and they got Al Horford back in the fold.

I’m not saying this team will win the Finals, but I am saying don’t be surprised if they come out the East. Thank you for your time, and without further adieu, PD Smash signing off.
